Signature Seaweed Soup
Signature Seaweed Soup
In Korea, seaweed soup is eaten daily for a full month after childbirth—a ritual of nourishment and care. Our signature seaweed soup has a Japanese twist, adding aosa seaweed, rarely found in the U.S. Shipped directly from Japan to preserve authentic flavor and quality, it is higher in nutrition than standard wakame seaweed. In Eastern tradition, seaweed supports circulation while beef replenishes energy and blood. Seaweed soup is also served on birthdays in Korea, a quiet gesture of gratitude to the mothers who brought us into the world.

Frequently Asked Questions.
How should I eat your meals? How many per day?
Our meals are formulated based on traditional Eastern medicine, designed to actively support recovery and balance rather than simply satisfy hunger. We recommend eating at least two soups or stews per day, especially during the postpartum period.
This may sound like a lot—but in Korean postpartum tradition, mothers typically eat 3–4 bowls of Seaweed Soup (Miyeok Guk) every day for several weeks after giving birth. The repetition is intentional—healing in these traditions comes through consistency and warmth, not variety.
How long do your products last?
Our soups stay fresh for several months in the freezer for best quality (though technically safe indefinitely if kept below 0°F / -18°C). The date printed on our packages is a "best by" date.
Once thawed, please refrigerate and enjoy within 1–2 days—our food contains no preservatives or additives.
How does shipping work?
All orders placed before Monday at noon (PST) will ship out on Wednesday.
We currently deliver only within California State.
You will see your specific delivery date (Wednesday or Thursday) displayed at checkout after putting in your delivery address.
Please be available to receive your order the day of delivery to prevent thawing. If no one answers, we will leave your delivery at the door. We cannot re-attempt delivery due to the nature of our products, so if your address is an office address with specific hours, please notify us upon ordering, via email. While we do our best to ensure items stay frozen, we cannot guarantee product quality once the delivery has been completed.
If you’re planning ahead for postpartum, we recommend ordering at least one month before your due date.
Testimonials
All of the soups were excellent !!
I will defiantly purchase again
Simply sipping the wakame and beef tendon soup gave me the energy I needed!
Thank you very much for sharing this and we're so happy to hear that the soup gave you the energy you needed. This recipe was inspired by a tradition of nourishing mothers with mineral rich seaweed and slow cooked beef, so it means a lot to know that you could really feel its intention. I hope it continues to support you on the days when you need that gentle lift!
Flavor was excellent. Texture was okay. Seaweed was falling apart but few pieces were still intact so very good. Chunks of meat was also delicious and wished there was a bit more.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts!
We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed the flavor and the meat.
Our seaweed soup includes Aosa seaweed for a little Japanese twist. It’s wonderfully nutrient-rich compared to wakame (typical seaweed), but it does tend to come in smaller pieces and softens a lot when cooked—so that’s likely why the texture felt a bit delicate.
We’ve also learned that many of our U.S. customers enjoy a heartier texture, so we’ve started adjusting our Aosa and Wakame ratio to give the soup a bit more bite.
Your feedback truly means a lot to us and helps us make the product even better. Thank you again!
